At My Metal Business Card, we strive to keep our clients up-to-date and informed on all our products and processes. Therefore, we’ve compiled this FAQ of some of the most common general questions we’ve received from new and returning customers alike. 1. Can I request free samples?

Yes, simply visit our Portfolio Page and complete the Request Free Samples form on the right side of your browser – we will send you generic samples to feel our quality and options.  If you’re looking for a one-off sample of your design, we can do that too!  Give us a call (714) 213-8155 for a quote.

2. Can you produce less than 100 cards?

Yes!  Please contact us directly at 714.213.8155 M-F 9am-5pm PST.

3. Can I split my order among different people?

Yes!  We just ask for a minimum of at least 50pcs per person to avoid split fee costs. You can provide us with the different names and contact information during the order process.

4. Can our order be personalized with numbers or a list of names?

Yes! Variable Data can be added to each card for only $0.50 each. This would include individual numbers and/or names per card – perfect for members’ names and numbers, VIP clients’, or even sequential numbering.

5. Can you print color on both sides of the card?

Yes!  All of our pricing includes one spot color that can be used on both the front and back. Additional colors are available at only $0.25 per color, per card.

6. Can you etch on the front and back of the card?

Yes!  We can produce logos, drawings and text on both sides of your card. We utilize double-pass etching which allows us to produce engraving of artwork that may overlap on both sides of the card.

7. What if my card is smaller or bigger than standard business card size?

That’s no problem! Pricing will fall within whichever product dimensions you want. For 2 x 1.125” or smaller, purchase Metal Dog Tags. For business card size up to 4.5 x 2.75”, purchase VIP passes. The largest product on our site is 4 x 6” metal invitations, but we can generally work within a 12 × 12″ area. For a custom quote, please call us at (714) 213-8155!

8. Can you make my card custom shaped?

Yes! Let your imagination run wild with sizes and shapes. Custom shapes are available within product dimensions. Please note rounded corners and edges are necessary for safety purposes.

9. Do you offer a Design Service?

Yes! We offer a professional in-house graphic design Artwork Service for custom card design. For only $60, our graphics team will create a card design based upon your input and ideas. This service includes up to five (5) artwork changes, complete with a .jpg proof for each round. We will work back and forth with you to ensure you love your design and will not send any order into production without your confirmation.

10. How do I send artwork for my order?

During check-out you will be prompted to upload your front and back artwork.

  • If you purchased our Artwork Service or a package with Artwork Service included, please upload your logo or any other files that may help our team with the design of your custom card.
  • If you are bypassing our Artwork Service, we ask for vector artwork with all fonts outlined. File types accepted include: .ai, .eps, .cdr, .pdf, .dxf, and .dwg. Artwork Guidelines are available at

11. From production to shipping, how long will it take to receive my order?

Due to the complexity of manufacturing metal business cards, production generally takes 2-3 weeks. Once your order has shipped, you can expect to receive your cards no later than five business days based on your geographical location from our facility in Southern California. To show our appreciation for your business, all orders in the continental US receive flat rate shipping for $10 via FedEx Ground. Expedited shipping options are also available upon request.

12. Is rush delivery available?

13. Can you ship internationally?

Yes, we are happy to ship any order internationally!  Pricing will depend on the country, courier and weight of your package.  We will provide you with freight options and you may choose which option is best for you.  Please note: you will be responsible for any additional taxes charged on the package in customs.
