1. How does the artwork service work?

No artwork? No problem! Our designers know how to make you look good. During checkout, simply upload any logo, drawing, or content you have – we’ll take it from there. In less than 24 hours, you’ll receive a digital proof to review. Note any changes and we’ll update the proof – up to 5 times! Once you absolutely LOVE your artwork, we’ll produce your cards using our state-of-the-art processes.

2. Will I see a proof of my card before production?

Yes! All orders – regardless of print-ready artwork or not – receive a digital proof that will be Emailed to you in 24 hours or less after ordering.

3. How long will it take to receive my order?

Considering the process described in question one, our general production time is roughly three weeks. Once your order has shipped, you can expect cards no later than five business days based on your geographical location from our office in Southern California. To show our appreciation for your business, all orders receive flat rate shipping for $10, via FedEx Ground to addresses in the continental USA.

4. Is rush delivery available?

5. Why are metal cards more expensive than paper cards?

Metal business cards are a completely different manufacturing process than printing. Your cards are made from 100% stainless steel and chemically-etched with your custom artwork. For this process, we must (A) produce custom artwork for you, (B) create a custom ‘film-tool’ to make your cards, (C) prep the stainless steel sheets for etching, (D) etch your cards in a series of acid-based solutions; (E) add-on features require additional card processes and finally, (F) individually inspect and prepare each card for delivery.

6. How do I send artwork for my order?

During check-out you will be prompted to upload your front and back artwork.  If you have questions about our process and guidelines, or would like feedback on your design, please Email artwork@mymetalbusinesscard.com

7. Can you make my card any shape or size?

Yes! Let your imagination run wild with size and shape. We can generally work within a 12×12″ area.  Call or write for a custom quote. Call us at(714) 213-8155 for a free quote with your custom card size!

8. Can our order include variable names and/or numbering.

Yes, variable data can be added to each card for a fee of $0.50 each. This would include individual number and/or names per card.

9. Can I request free samples?

Yes, simply visit our Portfolio Page and complete the Free Samples form at right – we will send you generic samples to feel our quality and options..  If you’re looking for a few samples of YOUR design, we can do that too!  Give us a call (714)213-8155.

10. Can you print color on my cards?

All order pricing includes one spot color; additional colors available at $0.25 each. Please call us at (714) 213-8155 for additional information.

11. Can you etch lettering on the front and back of my cards?

Yes! We can produce logos, drawings and text on either side of your card. We utilize double-pass etching which allows us to produce engraving of artwork that may overlap on both sides of the card.

12. I don’t have artwork, can you make my design?

We offer a professional graphic design artwork service for custom card design. For only $60, our graphics team will create a card design based upon your input and ideas. This service includes up to five (5) artwork changes, complete with a .jpg proof for each round.

 13. Can you ship internationally?

Yes, we are happy to ship any order internationally!  Pricing will depend on the country, courier and weight of your package.  We will provide you with freight options and you may choose which option is best for you.  You will also be responsible for any additional taxes charged on the package in customs.

14. Can you produce less than 100 cards?

Yes.  However, the price would still need to cover all internal set-up for the production.  Please contact us directly for a quote.

15. Can I split my order among different people?

Yes. If you order 50pcs or more for each person, your order can include different name/contact information.  For instance, you could order 200 cards for four people – each will receive 50 cards and you will receive the 200 card price.

16. Do you encode your magnetic strips?

We can provide you either a HiCo or LoCo universal magnetic strip, but we do not encode the cards at our facility.  You may contact your POS system and they can offer you this service. Please note all magnetic strips are LoCo unless otherwise requested.

18. Do I have to pay to see a design proof?

Our biggest priority is service.  To maintain a high level of service, we do require that an order is placed prior to any artwork or production.  This enables you to receive an order number and place in our design queue.  Remember – all of our services have a 100% satisfaction guarantee.  We will work with you to design a card you love, and we will only move forward with production upon your approval.
